Frame Generator and Content Center error

QUESTION:
When I start the Frame Generator command I get the following error message:

“Problems encountered while executing frame insert command.”
“Failed to read data from Content Center.”
“Content Center server query failed. Please check your Content Center configuration to make sure all required libraries are present or check Content Center connectivity to server”

ANSWER:
This message means that you are not logged into Vault.

You will need to log into Vault to access the Content Center files.
1. In Inventor go to FILE > Autodesk Data Management Server > Log In…
2. In the login dialog box enter your login name and password, also enter the server name and database name.

3. If ADMS is loaded locally and you are not using Vault to check in/out files you will need to place a check in the “Content Center library read only user” box.

We have the same problem, but with inventor 2010.

We have just moved from 2009, the upgrade seemed to go okay on all the various parts - we did all the requested backingup-uninstalling adms 2009-installing vault2010-restoring from bakcup, it imported all the libraries okay, did all the converting etc.

in inventor we log in, it says it is working, we checked it wasn't lying by trying incorrect passwords and they didn't work so it is clearly accessing it jsut fine, and yet.... same error as other chap which apparently happens when one isn't connected to a suitable library. But our libraries on out vault server are correct and in a 2010 partition, we log in to it successfully... what do i check?
